New design features have been introduced to increase turning, glide, and most of all predictability. Increased predictability helps you advance your riding from learning on flat water through to massive jumps and fully ventilated turns, greater stability & efficiency, easy take off at low speed and superior manoeuvrability all while allowing for impressive performance over a very wide range of speeds.

The curved wingtips keep ventilation from moving up when getting close to the water surface, making the FlightAttendant extremely forgiving and the front wing and rear stabiliser combinations perfectly complement each other which allows for a short fuselage that results in a foil that is amazingly stable and very easy to manoeuvre and will amaze you when effortlessly pumping from one wave to the next.

There are four High Modulus Carbon options all on an 85cm High Modulus Carbon mast: 780, 980, 1280 and 1480.

The profile, outline, twist and taper have been designed in order to allow for greater stability & efficiency, easy take off at low speed and superior manoeuvrability all while allowing for impressive performance over a very wide range of speeds.

The curved wingtips keep ventilation from moving up when getting close to the water surface, making the FlightAttendant extremely forgiving.

The front wing and rear stabiliser perfectly complement each other which allows for a short fuselage that results in a foil that is amazingly stable and very easy to manoeuvre and will amaze you when effortlessly pumping from one wave to the next.

Reedins design goals for the new FlightAttendant

Aspect: The FlightAttendant foil set has a higher aspect ratio to increase glide and turn. The wings are also flatter with a less aggressive overall curvature to increase speed and ventilation resistance.

Profile: The profile was chosen based on a few factors- ease of takeoff, speed range, and ventilation resistance. The airfoil on the flight attendant has a very low stall speed and high stall angle. This helps get you on foil easily with a wide range of boards & wing combinations, skill level and conditions. It also helps when landing jumps and pivoting in the pocket.

Front Wings: The wingtips have been slightly flattened and straightened in this generation. The airfoil gain in ventilation resistance allows for less curvature in the wingtip. The front wings come in 4 sizes ranging from the 780, 980 and 1280 to the 1480.

The 780 and the 980 can both be used for KiteFoiling.

Rear Wings/Stabilisers: There are two sizes of rear stabilisers.  The 33cm (Small) stabiliser is matched with the 780, 980 set up. The 38cm (Medium) stabiliser is matched with the 1280 and the 1480 set up. The rear stabilisers can be adjusted by one degree by sliding the stabiliser forward or backwards on the fuselage.

Masts: The FlightAttendant set comes in two options, In Aluminium (Alloy) and High Modulus Carbon in 85cm lengths. This product is the 85cm High Modulus Carbon mast. See the alloy setup elsewhere on our site.

Fuselage: The new fuselage has been revised to reduce weight and drag while increasing modularity. The mast now uses a conical box-style connection for absolute rigidity between mast and fuselage. The tail section has a reduced cross section and is slimmer and the front wing connection is hollowed out to save weight.

Tech Specs

780 
The 780 is made for riding with a lot of power, at high speed, and works for lighter riders as well. 

Made for wave riding and wing freestyle at an intermediate to advanced level, or a kite foiler of any level. This wing can be pushed super hard while remaining predictable and the easy takeoff and fast jump recovery is perfect for freestyle tricks. 
Good for tow foiling, high-wind wingfoiling, kiteboarding, wakeboarding, and anything else where you have a lot of power and speed. 

980 
Extremely versatile allround foil. Suitable for most riders. The 980 is a blast to play around with in the surf, with more glide than the 780 while staying fast and predictable. The go-to foil for many of the Reedin team riders because it handles basically everything. 

1280 
Taking off on this 1280 is a breeze. A stable, forgiving platform while allowing for great top speed and turning. This could be your only wing for all conditions. It’s ideal for smaller wave surf-foiling and wingfoiling on 70L+ boards. Fast for its size with great glide and pump. The Go-to foil for 60-90kg riders. 

1480 
Feels smaller than the area would suggest. The glide is great, turning smooth, and it’s surprisingly fast! 

A little higher aspect, the 1480 is the fastest wing for its size. Good in low wind, with really nice glide. 

Targeted for downwind winging, it pumps really well, engages super early and is very forgiving when breaching out. 

The perfect light-wind foil for advanced riders or intermediates who are ready for lots of progression.

UK Mainland delivery :

Orders for Surfboards, large Foil Boards and large Twin Tips: £24.95

Delivery times are based on standard working days being Monday to Friday, no Saturday deliveries, excluding public holidays.

Orders for Next Day delivery must be placed by 1pm, but please call if it is after this time as we may be able to put Next Day orders through till 3.30pm. Next working day delivery ONLY applies for Mainland UK.

Additional costs for larger items and next day services may apply for locations such as Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, please contact us if you need to clarify this?

For customers placing orders with The Watersports Centre from Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man – It is highly important (and we recommend that you check your national import policy) that you understand and budget for any import taxes that you may have to pay.  The Watersports Centre is not responsible for any such charges and if they become due you should be contacted by your customs office. 

Unfortunately, if The Watersports Centre sends an item out and it is then rejected by the customer due to these import charges you will receive a full refund for the item when it is returned to The Watersports Centre less the total shipping and returns costs. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions on this subject.

Please be aware that customs are presently experiencing delays in some European destinations such as Spain, Italy and Germany. Please be patient. The issue arises with customs processing. Cancelations while orders are held are not possible as at that stage we cannot recall the shipments. Once delivered, orders can be returned as normal subject to our usual terms and conditions.

Please note that customers ordering with The Watersports Centre from outside the UK that the UK have now left the European Union and that on orders leaving the UK, no UK VAT will  be charged and as a result the price you see and pay will exclude UK VAT. Important: please be aware that you may be liable for import VAT when you receive the item in your destination, this is likely to be different for different locations and as a guide the UK VAT rate is presently 20% but the sum you may be charged may be between 20% to 27% of the order cost. It is essential that you understand and budget for any import taxes that you may have to pay.  The Watersports Centre is not responsible for any such charges and if they charges are due you should be contacted by your countries Customs office.

We have no control over these costs/duties/tariffs and you will need to research these costs on your government website and take them into account when placing the order as the courier will not deliver your order until these are paid. 

When the courier is ready to deliver, they will get in contact with you for payment, if you then decide that these fees are too much you are well within your right to refuse delivery but these fees do not go away. Your item will then be returned to us, and we will have to pay the fees as well as return shipping costs, extra customs fees (for coming back into the U.K.) and admin fees. Once these fees are paid we will refund your order minus these extra costs. We will not know the exact amount we will be refunding until we have paid all fees and have the order back with us.

Exchange rates vary constantly therefore The Watersports Centre cannot guarantee the price of an item in any other currency except GB Sterling. The payment taken from your account will be GB Sterling so you will have to check how your bank will process the payment and what charges they may impose.

Our Courier companies will also require proof of ID when shipping to Norway and Switzerland and will ask to see a passport or driving licence before we will be able to ship any items. Customers from Norway and Switzerland will be contacted after placing an order.

Please note we cannot accept any orders to be shipped into the EU under the total product order value of £150, any orders placed under £150 (excluding delivery costs) to be delivered into the EU will be rejected.

If for any reason you would like to return your item(s), then please be aware that we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to return such goods to us and they must be in their original condition (with packaging and tags intact). You’ll also need to provide us with the receipt or proof of purchase.

We will either exchange the item, issue a full refund or a credit note on the site. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Please note that if goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them we reserve the right to refuse such returns.
If you would like to exchange or return your item or have a warranty query please follow the link below and submit as much information as you can so that we can process your request as swiftly as possible.

For any wetsuit warranty you must send the suit clean and dry as we will not be able to process a wet/dirty suit! 

Any item returned to us is at your own risk and cost. Please note that we will not be liable for any loss or damage to any returned items in transit and products remain your responsibility and property until we receive them. If returned items are lost or damaged in transit, we will have to charge you (or not to refund any amounts that may have been payable) for such loss or damage. We recommend that you use a recorded / tracked service and ensure that the item is/items are suitably insured to their replacement value.

You must send any item(s) you intend to return in the original packaging. Once your return has been delivered to us, please allow up to 5 days for your order to be refunded or exchanged. Please allow up to 5 working days for your refund to be processed by your payment provider.

Please bear in mind items that are “not wanted” or ordered in error (i.e. wrong size/colour) will be not be refunded for the postage costs that have been charged. Where free delivery was provided on orders over £65 including Surfboards, large foil boards and large twin tips and large box deliveries the P&P costs incurred will not be refunded.

PLEASE NOTE:  We can only generally accept courier and postal deliveries to our registered office or warehouse. Please contact us for the appropriate address.
