Description
Shinn Suprahydro Multidirectional (MD) Carbon Front Wing
A brand new technology.
The term “Multi Directional” refers to the weave of the carbon matt used.
Compatible with the new Shinn Fuser 580 and Fuser 735 fuselages, the new Shinn rear stabilisers SF40 & SF47 (Super Flat) and SW36 & SW42 (Wing tips down) and the range of Shinn Masts which are all available elsewhere on our site.
Shinn use recycled Multi-direction carbon fibre matt formed around a precision shaped, CNC cut, high density EPS foam core on both the front wing and stabilisers achieve unrivalled weight and rigidity. When combined with Shinns HM spread-tow carbon mast delivers a light and stiff foil at a price normally associated with Aluminium masted hydrofoils. All the MD carbon wings are supplied in padded covers.
Performance Highlights
- Exceedingly low parasitic drag levels allow for gliding with even the smallest of swells
- Full rail Carve feeling made even more radical through the use of the 580mm fuselage
- Excellent low speed take-off with a progressive lift that won’t surprise you
- High Stall angle ideal for pumping and low speed manoeuvres
- Enhanced pitch stability increases rider confidence and ease of control over a range of speeds
Extreme rigidity in the wings makes the Suprahydro re-active and stable under foot.
A fully Modular design allows over 300 different mast/fuselage/wing/stabiliser combinations with the minimum of easy to lose, hard to understand adaptors. Ultra-light composite wing technology using CNC cut EPS foam cores. An extra “treat” would be to ride these wings on the Shinn High-Modulus carbon mast.
Designed with equal attention given to both ease and performance this truly is one foil that can do it all.
The moderate aspect ratio and flat bottom profile deliver unparalleled low take off speeds and continues to fly at angles where other foils have already dropped you out of the sky. This is an amazing feature for beginners and wave riders alike.
These front wings are constructed from recycled multidirectional carbon and come supplied with covers to protect them when not in use. The Suprahydro can be run on either a Carbon or Aluminium mast in a huge variety of lengths of 60cm, 75cm, 82cm, 90cm, 100cm & 110cm in both Aluminium and High Modulus Carbon..
The larger sizes 1650 up to 2250 represent quite possibly the easiest foils on the market to learn with while the 1400 down to the all new 720 are genuine high performance surf, kite and wing foils ideal for riding, gliding or jumping.
1650 – 2250 perfect for light winds and the easiest foils to learn on the market
1400 – 720 high performance surf and freestyle foils
